Antioch Christian Academy (ACA) was established in 1995 by Antioch Missionary Baptist Church serving children in pre-kinder, kinder and first grades. ACA now offers educational enrichment to students from age 2 years through sixth grade. Total enrollment for 2004-2005 school year is 75 students.

Academic excellence is not unusual for students at the academy. They routinely test two or more levels above their grade on the Stanford Achievement Test Series, a national test utilized by private and religious schools.

The key to the academy's success is its commitment to academic excellence. The ABEKA curriculum used by the school challenges students to exceed beyond standard expectations for their grade. The academy also places an emphasis upon spiritual and cultural values that embrace the rich heritage of African -Americans. All teachers from first through sixth grade have college degrees, and classroom size is limited to 15 students.

ACA relies predominantly on tuition to operate. Fund-raisers comprise less than 5% of overall revenue. Annual tuition is $2,800 per year for 2-year-olds and $2,250 per year for all other students.

ACA will serve as an anchor tenant in Phase 2 of the new Antioch Family Life Education and Community Center Campus, and will expand its enrollment to 200 students from age 2 years through eighth grade.
